Inviato: 11/02/2011, 9:40L'itinerario prevede Domenica e Lunedì in Italia (Passo dello Stelvio - Campeggio sul Lago di Como - poi proseguono al Val d'Isere). Se a qualcuno interessa incontrarli mentre sono in Italia e se avete bisogno di traduzioni basta chiedere.

Sun 12 Sept - Day 2: Main roads, three more countries, three mountain passes including the incredible Stevio Pass in Italy with its 60+ hairpins. Camping by Lake Como, Italy.
Mon 13 Sept - Day 3: A misty 40 mile lakeside drive early morning as the sun comes up, then boring motorway to make up time (well, maybe not so boring as you'll be competing for space with mad Italian drivers!!!!!!!!), BBQ and off-roading at the largest/highest/most beautiful off-road centres in Europe - Val d'Isére. Camping in Val d'Isére village.

Yes, we would be delighted to meet up for a Pizza on the evening on our second day, only this year it would be Thursday 15th September. The reason is because Landy Rally 2011 will start and finish midweek (Wed 14th to Thurs 22nd Sept), so allowing the UK-based teams to attend LRO Show at Peterborough before they go, and Abingdon 4x4 Festival when they return.
Also, midweek means no off-roading with your club, but to be honest we wouldn't have found the time anyway - Day 2 is a full day from Feldkirch in Austria to Dongo, and on Day 3 we have to be in Val d'Isere by lunch.
So, if you would still like to meet up evening of Thursday 15th September, it would be great!
I have attached a copy of last year's Road Book to the camping in which we stayed, we will stay there again this year. Time to go for food - 19:00 to 19:30 ? However, as teams will arrive from 18:00 then by all means come and see us for an beer beforehand. Anyone who wants to join us camping is of course welcome, we tend to party until at least 2am!!!

Saranno in Italia la sera del 15 settembre a Dongo (in bus del cul dice Birba). Mi prendo giorno di ferie.
Poi l'altra roba è il LRO show a Peterborough in GB 11 settembre (anche loro ci saranno). Peterborough è facilmente raggiungile da Stanstead in treno. I miei vivono a metà strada, probabilmente vado anche a quello.

io avrei anche un bel roadbook per il rifugio Dongo, ad esempio.
